Riverside County participated in a multi-jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) that was approved by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and California State Emergency Management Agency in May 2005.   This LHMP provides detailed identification and analysis of the hazards faced by Riverside County.
