SANTA ROSA PLATEAU EMERGENCY TASKFORCE

The Santa Rosa Plateau Emergency Taskforce (SRPET) is a volunteer group of residents from the area communities, established in August 2008 through the guidance and leadership of Riverside County Fire Department Office of Emergency Services.

In an effort to meet the needs of the Santa Rosa Plateau communities, SRPET will strive to ensure current and accurate information is provided to property owners and residents on various types of emergencies/disasters.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Santa Rosa Plateau Emergency Taskforce (SRPET) is dedicated to providing effective emergency strategies for before, during and after disasters for all residents of the Santa Rosa Plateau.

GOALS

Emergency Readiness
a. Provide emergency preparedness information to Santa Rosa Plateau households.
b. Emphasize the importance of developing a five-day Family Emergency Plan,
    Emergency Supply Kit and Pet Emergency Kit.
c. Encourage CERT training.
d. Encourage residents to establish a communication network for mutual support in case
    of an emergency.
e. Encourage households to identify special needs individuals within their neighborhood.
f.  Introduce SRPET at community events and provide presentations that promote
    awareness and the importance of individual readiness.
